April 7, 2011, Coral Gables, Florida -- Alliance Ground International (AGI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerald "Jerry" P. Finn as President effective immediately. Jerry shall report directly to Mr. Anthony Romeo, Chairman and CEO of AGI.
Mr. Finn, a 30 year veteran in the industry has previously held recent positions of East Region VP Cargo and VP Sales & Marketing, North America for Swissport Cargo Services over the past ten years. Prior to that, Jerry was the Southeast Regional Vice President for Miami Aircraft Support which was owned by Mr. Anthony C. Romeo.
Alliance Ground International presently performs warehouse cargo handling and ramp services at Atlanta, Miami, Chicago and New York airports and is headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida. AGI is part of an aviation ground handling group that also includes Cargo Force, Inc. which provides cargo, ramp and mail handling services at nine domestic airports.
This appointment is part of Alliance's ongoing commitment to meet its growth demands. The additional management infrastructure will help support the 300% growth that the AGI-Cargo Force group experienced in the past 2 years .
